Last November, on the 8th, 9th and 10th took place in Cologne the European Rotors 2022 exhibition. In this second edition, after the success of the first one in 2021, the fair was consolidated as the European event of reference to bring together the VTOL community and generate a context of business growth.
The show is a collaboration between the European Helicopter Association (EHA) and the European Union Safety Agency (EASA), two important aerospace organizations that have joined forces to create this European showcase that brings together both operators and industry regulators.
Attendees at the show, formerly called the EASA Rotorcraft and VTOL Symposium, had the opportunity to present their ideas on the future of vertical flight from a safety perspective, as well as attend conferences, training sessions and workshops. The novelty this year was that it was presented in a hybrid format, with online and face-to-face content.
Our MC110 and MC24 motor controllers are the perfect choices for manned electric vehicles and systems that require a certification program
In this context marked by safety and reliability, Embention presented its Autopilot and Motor Controllers equipped with the latest technology for use in critical applications. Developed in compliance with DO178C and DO254 standards, the MC110 and MC24 motor controllers are the perfect choices for manned electric vehicles and systems that require a certification program.
Our latest technological developments, especially the flight control system Veronte Autopilot 4x, whose Fly-by-Wire technology allows the aircraft to be safely controlled from a joystick installed in the cockpit, were very well received by those attending the fair. This system has been designed to control up to 32 different actuators inside the aircraft, regardless of whether the eVTOL is powered by electric or combustion engines.
The Autopilot Veronte 4x is a revolution for the eVTOL world, since it has a reduced weight and dimensions compared to traditional systems at a very competitive cost. Not forgetting, moreover, that they comply with aeronautical quality standards.
All in all, the show was a fantastic opportunity to present the latest innovations of the brand and to get a 365o view of the VTOL community in Europe. From Embention, we are looking forward to the next edition of the European Rotors exhibition!
